What Steps are Involved in
Becoming a Volunteer?
1. The Application Process
You'll start the process by printing, completing and
returning the
San Mateo
PAL Volunteer application. You can also drop by the
San Mateo PAL office to pick up a printed version of the form.

Face-to-Face Interview
After your
San Mateo
PAL Volunteer application is received, the San Mateo PAL
office will contact you to discuss your interest in
volunteering and schedule a face-to-face interview. The
interview is a way for us to meet with you and discus our
volunteer opportunities.
3. Orientation
You will also be asked to attend and complete our "New
Volunteer Orientation." This orientation provides you with the
basics of volunteering; what to wear, expectations, as well as
important information about policies and procedures.
You may begin volunteer service
after completing the above steps. |
