The purpose of a Youth Leadership Council (YLC) is for youth to explore, discuss and recommend effective ways to engage themselves in the activities of their PAL. Membership in the Youth Leadership Council provides youth with leadership opportunities, education, new relationships and lots of fun as they work with their peers for the betterment of their PAL and their community. The Youth Leadership council is a great way to gain you community service hours and to help change the life of a youth.

The objective of the Youth Leadership Council is to develop leadership skills in the members, provide support and enhance the PAL programs.

Be an active part of PAL and your community!

Youth Leadership Council members are involved in:
  • Annual Toy Drive
  • Relay for Life
  • Cops & Kids Bowling Event
  • Junior Giants Festival, Picture Day and Giants Day
  • Bay Front Clean up and other “Green” Projects/Events
  • Sacramento Experience
  • City Wide Community Events
  • PAL Fundraisers
REQUIRED: You must be enrolled in high school to participate.
