The Youth Leadership Council (YLC) is designed for youth to
explore, discuss and recommend effective ways to engage
themselves in the activities of the San Mateo Police
Activities League. Membership in the Youth Leadership Council
provides youth with leadership opportunities, education, new
relationships and lots of fun as they work with their peers
for the betterment of their PAL and their community. The Youth
Leadership council is a great way to gain you community
service hours and to help change the life of a youth.
The objective of the Youth Leadership Council is to develop
leadership skills in its members, provide support and enhance
the PAL programs.Be an active part
of PAL and your community!
Youth Leadership Council is involved in the
following PAL activities and community events:
- Annual Toy Drive
- Relay for Life
- Cops & Kids Bowling Event
- Junior Giants Festival, Picture Day and
Giants Day
- Bay Front Clean up and other “Green”
Projects/Events
- City Wide Community Events
- PAL Fundraisers
