PAL members will get an experience that they will never
forget, Deep Sea Fishing in shallow waters along the San Mateo
Coastline of California. The “Queen of Arts” will be your
50-foot vessel operating from Pillar Point Harbor in Half Moon
Bay. Your will learn about different types of fish that live
under the amazing deep blue sea, learn to bait your own hook,
proper procedures on reeling in your catch and of course
learning proper etiquette on the water.
You will be taught by two of San Mateo’s finest, Officers Paul
Jung and Ralph Migita who will lead you on these exciting
trips of a lifetime.We will be
leaving at 5:30 AM and returning around 4:00 PM to the San
Mateo Police Department. (arrival times may vary)
PAL provides all the necessary equipment
that is need and will also purchase fishing licensees for
those participants over the ages of 16.
TRIP CHECKLIST:
- Please pack a bag lunch.
- Please have your child wear warm clothes
and dress in layers.
- Please have your child wear sunscreen or
bring sunscreen with them and a hat.
- Also, if child might become prone to
being sea sick, you might want to check with their doctor to
see if they can take motion sickness medicine. If you get
the doctor’s approval, we suggest that they take the
medicine the day before and the morning of the trip. This
trip it is especially important to make sure that you have
taken this medicine!
- Please have your child wear their PAL
t-shirt.
- Arriving back between 4:00-5:00pm
