If you'd like more thrills, challenges, and excitement as well as a true wilderness experience, the PAL White Water Trip is for you. You will experience a beautiful river, flowing through rich gold-bearing country. You are sure to encounter impressive rapids, including ultimate in big drops throughout the river ride.

Come enjoy the outdoors with Officer Paul Pak, and volunteers. We will be camping and bonding under the stars. We leave form the Police Department in the morning to drive up to the American River, and then we are back the following evening. It is an overnight adventure the kids will never forget.

What to bring:

• Clothes
• Towel
• Dry Clothes (including socks) for the ride home
• Large bagged lunch
• Backpack- nothing fancy
• Sweatshirt or jacket
• Flashlight
• Personal items: tooth brush, paste, sunscreen, chapstick, deodorant, etc.
• Sleeping bag-please contact the PAL Office if you don’t have one.
• Pillow
• Baseball cap for days
• Knit Cap for nights
• Second pair of shoes
• Great Attitude

PAL will provide:

• Meals for Friday night, and all day Saturday
• General Camping equipment will be provided such as tents, lanterns, and cooking equipment
