Dribbling, passing and shooting is a large part
of this popular sport, basketball. The Junior Warriors league
aims to encourage participation on youth basketball and assist
the development of local youth by stressing the importance of
commitment, discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship and hard work.
Each participant will receive:
• A reversible micro-mesh junior Warriors
jersey
• A certificate of participation
• An official junior warriors headband
• A ticket to a Golden State Warriors home game
LEAGUE COLLABORATIONS: Peninsula Family YMCA
Volunteer Opportunities: In order to make these leagues
a success we need to help of the community. We need volunteer
coaches and we will provide you with training, materials and
all the equipment needed to make this a great experience for
you.
REQUIRED: Parents are required to attend
the league orientation taking place March 2009. More
information will be posted as we move closer to the season.
